Something the director and I spoke about early on was representation within Jane Austen's stories. In a research spiral, I found several adaptions where Artists of Color brought Pride and Prejudice into their own culture. I wanted to highlight these stories, so I created Austen's Book Club to feature these works to the audiences. The following posters were on easels in the lobby as well as wreaths and walls of flowers welcoming them to our historically aesthetic production. The PowerPoint played in the cue line for tickets.
