Ismene: Youngest daughter and Child of Oedipus

Creon: Jocasta's Brother, Husband to Eurydice, father to Haimon, Uncle of Oedipus' Children, King of Thebes

Eurydice: Wife of Creon, Mother of Haimon, Aunt to Oedipus' children, Queen of Thebes

Haimon: Son of Creon and Eurydice, Cousin to Oedipus' children, Prince of Thebes

Polynieces: Youngest son of Oedipus, Second Child of Oedipus

Chorus Leader: The Narrator, assumes roles in the story, the link between the our world and the world of Thebes, Guide and Commentator

Chorus (Gods, Citizens, Protestors, Guards, Monsters, Jocasta, Oedipus, Eteocles)


Synopsis:

A new feminist take on Sophocles' Antigone. Modern, but not set in present-day or with technology. Follow the revolution of Thebes and the courage of Antigone. 

Workshop Production 2022: Set as if it were on a Grecian pot, the story of Antigone told centering Antigone, Ismene, and Eurydice as they each find their voice, beliefs, and power in a society not created for them.  All photos are by the sensational Drew Lotter!
